🌟 Step 1: Client Consultation
Ask about:
Sensitive or allergy-prone skin
Cold sores, cuts, or active acne
Recent facial, peel, bleach, or laser
Use of retinol / acne medication
❌ Do not wax on irritated or broken skin.
🌟 Step 2: Preparation
Ask client to lie comfortably.
Clean upper lip area with mild cleanser.
Pat dry completely.
Apply light pre-wax powder to absorb moisture.
❌ Do NOT apply oil for Brazilian hard wax.
🌟 Step 3: Heating the Wax
Heat Rica Brazilian Hard Wax.
Wax should be thick and flexible.
Always test temperature on wrist before applying.
🌟 Step 4: Wax Application
Work in two small sections (left & right side):
Apply thick layer of wax in direction of hair growth using small spatula.
Leave a small edge (lip) for easy pulling.
Allow wax to semi-dry (firm but flexible).
Stretch skin tightly by asking client to press lips inward.
Pull quickly in opposite direction of hair growth, keeping pull parallel to skin.
⚠ Proper stretching reduces pain and prevents bruising.
Avoid over-waxing the same area.

Remove any wax residue gently.
Clean area with soothing product.
🌟 Step 6: Soothing & Finishing
Apply calming gel / aloe vera gel.
Light press only (no heavy massage).
Apply sunscreen if client is stepping out.
